Spiral Fluted Vase (approx 6 3/4" tall)

The spiral fluted vase was quickly developed to the shape and design I wanted in Maker World's vase program. However, I wanted a thicker solid rim at the top that encapsulated the flutes, and provided better structural support.

I imported the .3mp vase file into a free version of Fusion 360, added a profile that would provide a gentle buildable exterior overhang to cover the flute ends (without supports), and then spun the profile geometry around the vase's central axis. This model was then exported as a .3mp into Bambu studios.

The black vase is approximately 6 ¾" tall and represents the .3mf file that is loaded here. In Bambu Slicer, you can use the scale button to modify the height (Z), and diameter (X and Y should be the same), to create smaller or larger vases that are narrower or wider based on your needs. The White vase in the photo is an example of a 9 inch tall vase that is much wider - to help hold the larger bouquet shown.

The wall thickness and fill may be more than you are accustomed to in vase made, but I wanted to ensure it held water (unlike some thinner walls I had experimented with).
