GROOVED BUBBLE CHANDELIER/LAMPSHADE

Hey!

 

Here’s another one of my chandelier designs – this time inspired by bubbles, grooves, and whatever happens when you mix the two…

My goal was to blend an organic, fluid shape with sharp, well-defined grooves – and I think I nailed it.

 

This chandelier is made of three parts – to assemble it, just print all three and press them together (carefully though!). You can also add a drop of glue if you want it to last for years.

• LP-07-0004-00 – that’s the diffuser, meant to be printed in vase mode with a 0.6mm wall thickness,
• LP-08-0004-00 – the top mount, designed to fit an E27 socket (it’s got a 40mm hole),
• LP-04-0005-01 – the stiffening ring, goes on the opposite side of the top mount. Besides looking cool, it adds some extra structure to the diffuser,

…and that’s pretty much it!
