GBU-57 MOP – Massive Ordnance Penetrator (Bunker-Buster Bomb)
This 3D model represents the GBU-57 MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator), one of the most powerful bombs ever built and sadly still relevant today. It's designed for multicolor printing, allowing for a realistic and visually striking result.
The model is split into two main parts, joined together with an integrated connector for easy assembly and added structural stability.
Great care has been taken to replicate the original look and proportions of the real ordnance.
✅ Print specifications:
- Layer height: 0.12 mm for fine detail quality.
- Split into two halves to fit medium-sized FDM printers.
- Tree supports recommended, especially for the nose section and rear fins.
- Multicolor printing supported, ideal for AMS or manual filament swaps.
- PLA recommended for clean surface finish and minimal warping, I used silver silk and army green PLA
- If the connector doesn't fit perfectly, use a small line of glue to hold the parts together. If it turns out to be too large, let me know and I’ll fix it.
