Designed from new to keep the cable hold and secure in two of the three positions available.

Best to start fitting the cable end in the middle and turn it around inside the holder until the other end fits in one of the other hunging clamps.

Original standard design is for 4.0-4.5 mm cable, best for large usb and ethernet cables

Design for 5.5-6.0 mm is scale it at 1.4x, convenient for AC power and HDMI Cable

Scale of 3.3-4.0 mm is scale it at 0.8x, intended for medium usb cables

Last scale of 2.6-2.9 is at 0.68x, for mini usb cables
