PTFE Tube Coupler Straightner Support

 

Do you have AMS feed errors from filament catching a edge on a coupler and cause retraction after retraction.

 

So Did I!

 

I modeled this in Fusion 360 to support the tubing and give it as much help as I could to encourage it to stay straight. 

You may still get issues from a curved filament end catching, but I have had much fewer issues once I installed this on my X1C.

 

All versions should fit the Bambu supplied/sold couplers along with the common Generic ones on Amazon.

However I did supply both print profiles for you to chose from

 

You can install while the coupler is attached inline to the tubing by starting the ends first 

then snapping it in towards the center and the barrel is pressed in last

OR

You can make it easier by snapping the coupling barrel into the support and then

Sliding the tubes in from the end.

 

Just Slide the coupler to the side to compress the release and pull the tube out the end.

 

I Do have my AMS set up below my desk in a cubby and has two couplers for easy disconnecting.
