H2D nozzle switch

What it is

This is a nozzle switch, so that you can easily switch your AMS between the left and right nozzle. This is easier and more convenient than swapping the filaments in the AMS. After switching, briefly run the automatic AMS setup and printing can begin.

The assembly does not require any screws or other additional parts, only the ptfe tubes and “Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter” or your prefered y-pieces.

NEW!! Buildplate 5 has a parts where you can fit in PC4-M6 Pneumatic Connector for PTFE Tube 

The nozzle switch is attached to the mounting piece of the external spool.

AMS labeling

The ABCD on the nozzle switch cover refers to the connetcted AMS unit. There are also labels that you can clip ony your AMS:

Assembly

After printing you should have this parts (you have also inserts not shown on the picture)

First step is simply pressing in the insert into the switches and the body

Second step is simply clicking in the switches (the back of the switches clicks into the two half round clamps

next step is to cut the ptfe tubes:

• 4x 275 mm long (left)
• 4x 295 mm long (right)

after that you can insert them (275 mm in the L “left” and 295 mm into R “right”)

if you have installed the tubes you can mount “Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter” to the ends or your prefered y-piece.

last step is to click the cover (first insert at the bottom and then click in at the top)

congratulations you made it. now you can install it on the mounting piece of the external spool.
