Nintendo Switch 2 - NBC Cover

Nightmare before christmas

This is halloween, everybody sream

This time, the latest cover isn't inspired by Zelda, but by The Nightmare Before Christmas. 

I'm planning to send my brother the test versions of the other covers—and since my sister-in-law is a huge NBC fan, I wanted to make sure she had one too.

Update: 28.07.2025 🛠️

· Added a new 2 mm plate version – it uses less material and prints significantly faster. This will be the standard for future designs.

· Included a print plate for users without AMS – color swap works via layer change, no multi-material setup needed

· The original 3 mm plate remains available for now, but won’t be continued in future releases

I had already created a door sign for her with the black houses and a white silhouette of Jack and Sally in the background. The grey background is new in this version. I hope it adds an extra dimension and I really hope it brings her joy.

And even though the heart containers I used in other covers are from Zelda, I feel like their symbolism fits here and they work surprisingly well as a base for this cover too:

By the way—did you spot the little pumpkin tucked away in the grey layer? It’s subtle and not immediately obvious, but it’s there. ;) 

Alongside this cover, I’ve created a series of drawer knobs inspired by Jack’s many emotions—from mischievous grins to hauntingly thoughtful expressions. Each knob captures a different side of his character. More designs exploring his spirit and moods will be coming your way soon!
