After much delay, the IDENTITY DISC BACK MOUNT has finally been released!
This is an alternate version of my Identity Disc model, reworked to not require multi-filament/AMS printing. All parts and plates use only one filament color each, and are intended to be assembled after being printed. It uses no electronics, though glow-in-the-dark filament is recommended. Also consider the compatible Identity Disc Wall Mount for easy display!
PRINTING GUIDE:
- You might want to scale the little cylinders down to like 98% scale. The tolerance is a little tight because they're meant to fit into a diagonal cylindrical hole…
- All plates should be printed twice with the exception of plates with either Spacer piece, and/or plates with the square Pegs.
- The “Normal” profile includes a full-sized Disc Blade which may be too large for some printers and a two-piece Spacer, with the outside intended to be printed with the highlight color.
- The “More Splits” profile splits the Disc Blade into thirds, allowing it to fit on most printers. It also contains the two-piece Spacer.
- The “Monocolor Spacer” profile includes a full-sized Disc Blade, but combines the Spacer pieces into one large Spacer intended to be printed as the base color.
- The “More Splits and Mono Spacer” profile splits the Disc Blade into thirds and combines the Spacer pieces into one large Spacer.
