Description
I designed this for my children so they can have fun with water in the garden. It can be used as watering tool as well.
It can be used as a garden sprinkler and as children toy. My kids run around and try to avoid water streams or they hold the tubes and use it as a water cannon.
Nothing special is needed to print this. I recommend using my print profile as it has reinforced threads and adaptive layer height for legs. Threads should be printed with 0.16 layer height to work correctly. You can print multiple leg segments if you want taller sprinkler.
I tested PLA and PETG, both work great. PLA will probably last you just one season due to poor UV resistance, but it is not a big print so it should not be a problem.
1x 1" faucet adapter
3x PC4-M10 connector
3x 30-45 cm PTFE tube
PTFE tube length depends on water pressure and effect you want to achieve. Longer tubes will move more randomly, shorter are better for garden watering.
Everything is connected with threads. PC4-M10 connectors can be screwed in with thread sealing cord, but it is not essential, it will work with small leaks.
You are responsible for your children's safety. These tubes move fast.
