Spiral Steps for Corner Wall

Bring some whimsy to your wall with the latest in my series of miniature steps & doors. This wall art is designed to be printed with minimal color changes and as little supports as possible.

 

Model = 97 grams

Waste = 25 grams

Total  = ~123 grams

If you'd like to reduce wast even further you can print the single color version of the flowers (last plate). ~18g of filament is consumed for that one piece alone. Visual impact is minor.

Assembly

*Special Note: Take extra care when removing supports from the spiral railing. Use flush cutters and grab as close to where you are removing supports from as you can in order to avoid flexing this delicate piece. Move slow and take your time!

 

Snap the door into its outer frame (2x). The bottom goes in first and the top clicks into place.	Slide one door into the upper door stoop. Be gentle. Only flex the railing just enough to slide the door into place.	Slide the 2nd door into the lower door stoop. Again taking extra care with the railings.
The spiral steps slot in the pillar going from 1 at the top, down to step 6 at the bottom (see insert for # label)	Carefully press the railing into the steps as shown. Be cautious, always support pieces as you insert. This piece is the most dilicate.	The lower landing and the spiral steps slide together as shown
The upper landing snaps onto the top of the spiral pillar. Take care to only press directly down on the pillar.	Combine the pieces of the potted plant	And the flower pot

 

The piece can be hung using a couple of small nails in the spaces at the top of the door frames.
