This is a two-part mount for i) the UniFi Cloud Gateway Max (UCG-Max) or Ultra (UCG-Ultra) and ii) its power adapter (+PA), designed specifically for the openGrid wall-mounting system.
The design is fully compatible with both standard openGrid and the compact openGrid lite boards.
Requires Multiconnect snaps: This mount slides firmly over OpenGrid Multiconnect snaps.
4 snaps recommended: While 2 snaps work, a square pattern of 4 is recommended for maximum stability and to prevent potential sag from device heat.
Lock in place: Slide the entire mount downward firmly until you feel a "click". This confirms the mount is locked and fully seated onto the snaps.
Print settings:
Material:PETG is strongly recommended. The UCG-Max can generate significant heat, and PETG will ensure the mount remains rigid over time.
Supports: Yes, the print profile includes tuned supports for the openGrid interface that are designed to be removed cleanly.
Orientation: Print as provided in the file for maximum strength.
Edit 2026: the latest version of the model doesn't have holes near the corner anymore, neither the small notches in the multiconnect snaps. The pictures have not (yet) been updated.
