A sturdy spare part for the Parkside tomato planter support grid

After the one of the original grid holders on my Lidl Parkside tomato planter snapped, I designed this printable replacement to keep my tomato plant standing tall. 🪴

 

This part is optimized for easy printing with minimal supports. You’ll notice a redesigned top surface that makes printing cleaner and more efficient than the original.

 

I printed mine in PETG using 4 wall loops and 50% infill for extra durability—especially useful in outdoor conditions. Feel free to adjust those values if your use case calls for lighter or stronger performance.

The hole for the grid sticks is 7.2 mm, offering a snug but hassle-free fit. If needed, you can scale the model in the X and Y axes to fine-tune tolerances for your specific setup.
