A1 & A1 Mini Shutter Release Mount

🧰Model Description

Step up your social media game with better timelapse videos of your prints. I designed this remote shutter release mount to work with the A1 and A1 Mini printers as a replacement for the cover holding the purge wiper. The mount is compatible with the generic shutter release remotes shown in the pictures.
The compatible remote dimensions are 33.5x52.3x11mm.

💻Setup Information

I tried several camera apps with this remote shutter, but the only one that seemed to take pictures when the button was pressed (not when released) was Open Camera for Android. Unfortunately, I am not able to check for IOS.

🪛Model Assembly

Use the hex key included with your printer to remove the two screws holding the stock cover and purge wiper. Then, simply swap the original cover with this shutter release mount and re-tighten the screws.

⚠️ Before starting your print, make sure the “Trigger” is not too long as it might cause problems. In case it is too long, shorten it in the slicer and print again.
