SwitchBot Mount for Berker W1 Outdoor Switches

### 🧠 What is this?

This is a custom-designed **SwitchBot adapter for Berker rocker switches** (model W.1).  
It allows you to mount a SwitchBot Bot **without drilling** and **without sticking it directly to the wall**, while still triggering the switch perfectly.

Designed for standard Berker outdoor wall sockets with **raised rocker panels**, often used in garages, basements, or outdoor installations.

### 🔧 Why I made it

I didn’t want a makeshift mounting solution with screws, distance blocks or adhesive improvisation.  
The Berker W.1 switch housing sticks out so far from the wall that mounting a SwitchBot directly on the surface – or even on the housing itself – is not feasible without adding the right offset.

That’s why I designed a **custom-fit clip-on holder** for single and double switches that attaches precisely to the housing.  
At the top, there’s a flat area made to cleanly hold a SwitchBot – no hassle, no drilling, no MacGyvering.

Just clip it on, stick the SwitchBot – and done.  
**Smart outdoor control in seconds.**

### 🧠 Worum geht’s?

Ein speziell entwickelter **SwitchBot-Adapter für Berker-Wippschalter** (Modell W.1).  

Entwickelt für die typischen **erhöhten Wippen** von Berker Außensteckdosen, wie sie oft in Garage, Keller oder Außenbereich verbaut sind.

### 🔧 Warum ich das gemacht habe

Ich wollte keine komplizierte Bastellösung mit Schrauben oder Abstandsklötzen –  
und auch nichts provisorisch an die Wand kleben.  
Denn die Gehäuse der Berker-W1-Serie stehen so weit von der Wand ab,  
dass man einen SwitchBot nicht direkt auf der Wand oder dem Gerät montieren kann,  
ohne vorher einen passenden Abstand zu schaffen.

Deshalb habe ich eine **passgenaue Halterung** für Einzel- und Doppelschalter entwickelt,  
die sich exakt an das Gehäuse anfügt.  
Oben ist eine Fläche vorgesehen, auf der ein SwitchBot sauber aufgeklebt werden kann –  
**ohne Frickeln, Bohren oder Improvisieren.**

Einfach einclipsen, SwitchBot drauf – fertig ist die smarte Außensteuerung.
