Skeleton Warrior #3 from Jason and the Argonauts

This is the third figure in a set of eight that was copied from Ray Harryhausen's personal set of silvered bronze skeletons, gifted to him by the Raven Armoury. That comes from the personal collection of Ray Harryhausen. This collection consists of eight skeleton statuettes. Each skeleton is posed differently, including one posed to look as it is emerging from the ground, and all are armed. This was sculpted from  Harryhausen's personal set, hand-made by the Raven Armoury and gifted to Harryhausen in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Jason and the Argonauts, in which Jason fought the 'Children of the Hydra', a group of living skeletons. With Harryhausen's endorsement, Raven Armoury produced a limited number of sets - only 250 skeletons were ever made . These prints take loving care to get right. This first one didn't work well in one piece, so I split it up. Be very careful taking the supports off, as the figures are very fragile.  If you like what you see please follow me and give what print you like a like.
