Minimal Action Camera BMX/Bike Mount

A minimal action cam bike mount for standard handlebars (22.2mm) with an adapter for a 19.6mm crossbar. It has been designed for a low profile and clean look. The main unit prints in one piece, using the flexible nature of PLA where it counts, hiding the mounting screw within, under the slide-on mount. The slide-on also has a quicker release compared to traditional mounts and stays solid while installed. A great feature for when you need to take your camera with you on a break or to check out your footage in the middle of a session. 

Have fun and experiment with different mounting locations and angles!

Materials:

• M5 screw with 8.4mm of thread
• M5 bolt x2
• Action Cam and mounts
• Thin rubber or nonslip gasket (if necessary)

Assembly Instructions:

• Print Parts (including 19.6mm adapter if desired)
• Install both M5 bolts
• Install adapter (if desired)
• Install gasket to bike
• Install main unit onto bike
• Install M5 screw
• Install printed mount to your action cam
• Install action cam to main unit

Depending on how smooth your handlebars are, the orientation of the mount, and the weight of your camera, you may need a gasket to prevent your action cam from rotating. Another option is to sand the contact parts and/or use thin tape between the two.
