A1 mini compatible.
Meet the Shade Stand Mini, the smaller sibling to my original design—crafted for simplicity, style, and smart space use. This 3D-printed stand holds 2 pairs of sunglasses and is perfect for minimal setups, nightstands, desks, or anywhere you want a neat little home for your shades.
Featuring the same bold, hexagon-inspired aesthetic, this version comes with a slightly smaller base and a key design tweak: the upright stand is positioned closer to the back, giving it a clean, open front while maintaining full balance and a centred look. In the base there are 4 recesses for 8mm x 2mm self adhesive silicon pads, to stop the stand from sliding.
The three-part design is quick and easy to assemble, and the stand holds your sunglasses securely while showing them off with a touch of modern flair.
Whether you’re displaying your everyday go-tos or just keeping things organised, Shade Stand Mini is a functional little upgrade your sunglasses will thank you for.
Printing:
For the best results make sure your print bed is clean. Use my print profile, for best results. There are modifiers in place for pegs, to print threaded part with 100% infill. Base prints with supports, make sure supports are enabled.
Available AMS version and one colour version without AMS
Assembly:
Only extra parts you will need is 3x12 self tapping screws, which you might have if you bought A1 or A1 mini printer. Also works without screws, or you can use glue.
