RETRO STYLE WALL CLOCK
I needed a clock, so I designed, printed and assembled a clock in a day. This design reminds me of an old clock I saw in an old photograph from within my grandparents house, only difference was that theirs was orange.
Requires Clock Components Kit-MH011 & AA battery.
Assembly:
- Clock face clips into the body from the back, i applied a small dab of loctite 420 super glue on each click lock to be sure.
- Clock numbers are inserted into position through the back into position
- Clock mechanism inserted through back (with rubber washer in place) and held into position with included washer & securing nut, which in turn will secure the numbers to the back of the face.
- Install shorter hour hand, then minute hand in the 12 o'clock position (3 sizes of hands & cap are included to allow for variances in printers/filaments, choose which fits best for you)
- Install battery
- Set time and hang on wall hook
- Enjoy!
Print notes:
- Split into 4 plates so you can choose colours (would recommend using the same TYPE of filament for the body, face & numbers as the tolerances are tight - ie: all PLA filaments or all PETG filaments)
Clock in photos:
- Clock body in matte lime green PLA
- Clock face in white PLA
- Clock numbers, hands & cap in black PLA
