Bring a warm, modern touch to your space with this beautifully designed spiral lamp shade.
Specially created to perfectly fit the IKEA SKAFTET lamp base and all standard E14 sockets, this shade combines elegant curves with maximum print efficiency.
I designed this lamp shade to be printed in vase mode using a 0.8 mm nozzle, allowing it to finish in under 3 hours, ready straight off the printer!
The 0.8 mm nozzle also makes the individual layer lines beautifully visible, adding a unique texture and handcrafted look. It also works perfectly with a 0.4 mm nozzle if you prefer finer detail, but printing will take significantly longer.
For my prototype, I used standard white PLA, which was slightly translucent to let the light shine through softly. I highly recommend avoiding opaque materials. Transparent or translucent filaments work especially well to highlight the beautiful spiral pattern.
⚡ Important: Only use LED bulbs to avoid overheating!
