AirPods Pro 1/2 Hardcore Waterproof Case

Waterproof shockproof hardcore carry case for the Apple AirPods Pro 1 and 2, the case passes the underwater test and is available in 3 versions:

1. Multi color apple logo and retro “Apple” scripts on the lid. Its possible to print with 1 AMS, instruction below.
2. Single color logo and modern “Apple” script on lid.
3. No AMS version with embossed logo.

You can mix and match the different cases and lids to create your own custom version! The multi color logo version requires 7 colors but its possible to print with 1 AMS as the logo colors print in sequential order. Below is a screenshot of my H2D setup with 1 AMS. I mapped the yellow to blue and green to purple and once it was done printing blue and purple I swapped them for yellow and green. On H2D I printed the multi-color version with only 5 filament swaps. 

*** WARNING: Do not use matte, silk or any other filament with weak layer adhesion for the case. The screws cut their own threads and the case will crack if you use those filaments. If you insist on using one of those filaments you will have to heat up the screws before cutting the threads to avoid cracking. ***

You will need three M3x16mm screws to assemble it. The gasket is friction fit inside the groove, the TPU inserts can be glued in for more secure hold. When assembling please follow the steps below:

1. Cut the threads with the screws and remove them, clean any excess material.
2. Attach the lid to the body making sure the water sealing groove mated properly, only then attach the hinge screw.
3. Attach the closure.
4. Insert the TPU sealing gasket, a small flat head screwdriver can help.

You can also scale the closure tab in slicer to adjust how tight/loose it is to fine tune it. The locking groove has very tight tolerances to make it pass the underwater test. Please make sure your filament is well tuned before attempting to print this model!
