Update 21/06/26: Occasionally I do something dumb and in this case It would appear I accidentally reduced the top part by 10%, which while easily fixed I didn't realise. I must apologise to @Addabas62 & @qwertySpace who were absolutely right that the top was smaller than the base.
It has now been fixed in the print profile, the STL files were fortunately not affected by me being a moron so they are fine.
Update 27/05/26: Added the base split into two parts (2_Parts_Base_A & B). Also added them to the 2 Part Split (V2) print profile.
Many thanks to @user_3292116718 for requesting this :)
Update 14/07/25: Added the table, split into two parts (2_Parts_A & B). They measure 160x154mm and 160x129mm respectively.
...
OK. Second attempt. Did I learn anything? Nope :)
To be fair, I did get rid of the plastic springs and worked on improving the flipper and plunger mechanism. if you are lucky and possess the same size springs or small elastic bands that I based my changes on, then awesome, as I think it is a noticable improvement. Unfortunately the pens I salvaged the springs from were not branded, as in, I was only allowed (by the better half) to dissassemble the generic cheap freebie click pens that are given away by local business. So I can't point you to a particular make but in my investigations, I found that there were only two variations around (spread across about the 10 pens I tested) and they were the 20mm, which works a treat, and the 30mm which is too big. You could try snipping them down I guess.
The elastic band method also works better than I expected, but is super fiddly and works best with small bands. We had a load spare from an old tie-dying kit.
On the original version, the gates didn't work properly and the flags were ok. This time I have included slots in the table so that you can try out the new flags and flag like spinners but if they bug you, and I will admit they aren't great, you can just make your own (or modify the included). Plus if you do break one, you can just reprint it.
Ever since I was a young boy, I've played the silver ball...
