Desiccant Container with Hygrometer Integration

 

This is a compact container designed to hold approximately 0.1 liters of desiccant.

Yes, there are plenty of similar designs out there—but I wanted to create my own. Since I was making it anyway, I figured I’d share it with the community.

While it fits nicely inside a Bambu spool, the design is intended for general use. Please note that it’s not meant to be permanently attached to the spool.

• Dimensions: 54.2 mm (diameter) × 62.5 mm (length)
• Desiccant Capacity: ~0.1 LL

 

Features

• Ventilation holes on the side and bottom for optimal airflow
• Hygrometer integrated into the lid (standard round type)
• Hygrometer is isolated from the desiccant chamber to prevent inaccurate readings
• Easy hygrometer removal, allowing desiccant to be dried without removing the entire container
• Compatible with Bambu spools

If you don’t want a hygrometer integrated into the lid, I’ve also designed a small cap to seal off the hygrometer compartment.
This cap is customizable—you can, for example, add the filament type or your name to it for easy identification.

 

The hygrometer is the common round model found in the Bambu Lab store, on Amazon, or AliExpress.
