Air Intake Filter - AMS 2

Filter for AMS 2 Pro air intake. Prevent most longer fibers such as cat hair or longer dust fibers to be sucked in. Mounting with double sided tape recommended. Hot glue or other removable glue could also be used.

 

Requires:

Riser is a must! Requires clearance underneath the AMS for the height of the filter, 13.2mm + tape.

 

Bottom vent = intake.

 

I use it in combination with Sanja 3D's Slider Riser V5 and AMS 2 Pro modified Foot pegs for the riser by Captain Leo, A tinkerer's  AMS 2 Pro mounts and strut and 3x clamps by Post-ApocalypticDIY one of which is trimmed to not collide with cable clamp front left and 2x clips by Sanja 3D. Could also be used with C3D's Top Glass and AMS Riser or any that provides some extra height.

 

0.16mm layer height and PLA recommended. If you use dry filament it shouldn't string much but can be easily burnt away with very short duration lighter flame.
