Renault R5 TURBO

The Renault 5 Turbo was a mid-engine sports car from Renault. Based on the widened body of the front-wheel-drive Renault 5, it was introduced in March 1980, with the second series being produced from 1982. This model series was built at the Renault-Alpine plant in Dieppe, north of Le Havre, not at the Flins plant northwest of Paris, where the standard R5 model line was produced.
