Print parametric labels for your IKEA citronhaj spice jars.
I have added some pre-made labels to the print profilefor the large citronhaj jars. Download those to get started and if you need more flexibility you can try the instructions below.
This model requires an AMS, but there is relatively little purge waste (poop) if you print multiple lids at once by filling the build plate.
Instructions:
- Enter the text you want to print on the label (the model will automatically make it upper case)
- Click generate, this will output the text
- Download this model (as STL)
- Click the export disc parameter, this will generate the negative text in a disc
- Download this model (as STL)
- Create a new project in bambu studio
- Select both STL files and drag them into the bambu studio project
- When asked to load as a single object with multiple parts select ‘no’
- In the process section, change to object and from there you can select the colour/filament of each part of the lid
General guidace:
- You need to generate both part of the lids separately (this is a limitation of OpenSCAD)
- Tested with the 35cl jars with 0.4mm nozzle
- Should work for the smaller 10cl jars using a 0.2mm nozzle.
- Limited to upper case text only (due to consistency with font spacing).
- Limited to monospace fonts only (due to consistency with font spacing).
- I like printing the labels face down on a textured PEI build plate, but you can also flip the model if you prefer.
- Arachne is the preferred wall generator
