Corner Connector for 2020 profile

Heavy-Duty 2020 Aluminum Profile Connector – Printable, No Supports Needed

This is my custom-designed, heavy duty corner connector for 2020 aluminum extrusion profiles.This design wraps securely around all three profile ends. The geometry is optimized for 3D printing without supports. I've printed them in PETG (recommended) as well as PLA, and I expect ABS to work fine too.

Printing Tips:

• Orientation: Place the part on its flattened corner tip, as shown in the slicer screenshot.
  This orientation minimizes the impact of 3D printing's anisotropic strength , avoiding loads along layer lines, reducing the risk of layer separation.
• Layer height: A finer layer height (e.g. 0.16 mm or less) is recommended for the angled faces.
• Supports: Not required if printed in the correct orientation.

Hardware Used:

• I use M5x10 screws without washers.
• When using washers, I switch to M5x12 screws
