Pool venturi aerator 1-1/2" NPT return jet

This is an aeration venturi for the 1.5" NPT return jets in a pool.   This will allow you to more rapidly raise your pH by aeration without as much water loss to evaporation as you would have with a fountain/spray approach.   This is sized to use standard ½ PVC pipe as the air input (pictured), but you could print an input pipe if desired 

I needed to lower the total alkalinity in my pool.   This is accomplished by adding acid, then allowing carbon dioxide to off-gas re-raising the pH.   This can be accelerated by running a fountain, but that causes more water evaporation and cooling.    This method uses the venturi effect to pull and mix air into the return water stream as very small bubbles.   This makes the process happen much more quickly.
