This is a small battery holder meant to fit inline with a bracelet or jewelry. It originally made it to power LED fairy lights on a bracelet. Use #2 screws to attach the cover.

Add AA Spring Contact Plates (easily found for cheap from eBay/Aliexpress) and cut the plate to fit. Then, cut the springs to half length. Solder any connections you want before inserting the contact plate - a counterbore holds the spring in place, preventing the plate from escaping, but also making it difficult to remove.

A slot on the bottom allows you to insert a piece of paper or plastic to stop the batteries from touching.
