Description
Want a life-size replica of a US Army landmine that clicks just like the real thing? This model is of the M16 US Army Anti-Personnel Mine that was common in the Vietnam war of the 1960s and 1970s. The trigger is spring-loaded and clicks when pressed. There's a non-AMS version you can print and the text is inserted into the model, so there's no color changes needed to have the text.
Assembly is super simple and just take a minute – no glue is required.
Background: The M16 mine is a United States-made bounding anti-personnel mine designed to launch into the air when triggered and then explode a few foot above the ground. Also referred to as a "Bouncing Betty" type mine, it was based on the World War II German S-mine and has similar performance.
When putting the trigger on the top, its best to hold the cylinder you are adding it to so you don't squish the spring too much putting it on.
