Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote PRO cover case WideBase

This is version 18 of my Fire TV remote cover.  I have a large series of covers that I will be publishing.  Check my other models if you are interested in a different style.  I will be porting some older designs to this PRO remote now that I have it.

 

This is a smooth PLA case with a standing base that is only for the Alexa PRO voice remote.  It has the quick access button for audio devices in the top right corner and it has 1 and 2 application launch buttons.  The buttons are backlit and the FIND ME beeper works with Alexa.  It is a different shape from the older voice remotes.

Printing:

I printed this in PLA with no issue.  I used a honeycomb infill with no layers to make the remote IR window in the top.  If you want a different style you can try rectilinear or cubic.  They all look nice.

There are two plates to choose from in the profile.  One has a room label and one without.  I printed this for my bedroom, but it is easy to change the text in the slicer to KITCHEN or GARAGE or whatever room you need.

 

Assembly:

Slide the top onto the remote.

 

Slide the whole thing into the base.  The layer lines will keep the top from sliding out of the base.

 

Done.
