This tag is designed to be used with transparent airtight boxes for storing 3D printing filament. The tag attaches to the lid of the box and helps quickly identify the filament type and color. It takes less than 20 minutes and less than 5 g of filament.
Print Profiles:
Profile A: Tighter tolerances for a snug fit. May break with some filaments if forced to stretch too much (better fit).
Profile B: Slightly looser tolerances for easier insertion without risk of breaking.
Colors and Text:
The tag will be printed in the color of the filament stored in the box.
The label text (e.g., "PLA Basic") will be in a neutral color (white or black) for clear contrast.
White Text Profile: 3 layers of white for good visibility on dark backgrounds.
Black Text Profile: 1 layer of black, enough to completely cover the base color.
Editing the Text:
To change the name on the tag, open the model in Bambu Studio. In objects select the text shape, then click the text icon and edit the label as need. You can also adjust the text size and inner thickness.
Installation Tip:
To insert the tag into the lid, rotate it slightly while pushing it in, as shown in the attached video.
