Description
This project introduces a versatile modular storage solution, the Rack4All-Storage unit, specifically designed to complement your Bambu Lab A1 and mini series 3D printers. The Rack4All-Storage unit is a straightforward yet highly effective modular rack system that integrates seamlessly into your workspace. More information about the 4All ecosystem of products. I designed the Rack4ll to accommodate the original Bambu Lab cardboard filament boxes, open spools, and all kinds of accessories in the latter, keeping them neatly organized and easily identifiable within dedicated drawers. Beyond this, the Rack4All fully supports the integration of Gridfinity modules. These modules are precisely dimensioned to the Gridfinity standard, offering an incredibly flexible way to customize your storage for tools, parts, and accessories, ensuring everything you need is always within reach and perfectly organized.
So here starts a comprehensive Gridfinity organization solution designed for Bambu Lab H2D users, with much to come in the near future. This system brings essential tools and components together in a compact, easily accessible arrangement, enhancing your workspace efficiency, which makes it part of the Rack4All Storage ecosystem.

This storage box is designed for the hexagonal provided with the Bambu Lab A1 series printers, and it follows the same design philosophy as the storage solutions I created for the H2D. However, this is specifically adapted for the A1 hexagonal keys, providing organized storage while maximizing space efficiency. The box features dedicated slots for the keys and additional pockets for temporary screw storage during maintenance work and the unclogging pin.
Material: Specific plastic glue or another quick cyanoacrylate adhesive.
Process: Start by printing all the parts.
Ideally, the cover should be printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle, with a smooth PEI plate with the text facing the plate. If you don't have a 0.2 mm nozzle, consider acquiring one; it's inexpensive and very useful. I'll leave the link here if you wish to learn more. If you already have this nozzle, then use it; you can print all the sliding button parts with it for an excellent finish. The non-textured plate is also something good to have as part of your printer tools.
Â
Building on our Rack4All projects, this module aims to bring even more organization to your workspace.
What is it? This module is a large Gridfinity-compatible bin designed to neatly organize and store the various accessories that come with your Bambu Lab A1 printer, specifically targeting the contents of the "Tool Box" included with the Bambu Lab A1 and mini. The goal was to migrate the entire thermoformed insert from the original packaging into a custom-fit, accessible Gridfinity module, useful for all A1 users, regardless of their specific configuration.
This module meticulously organizes the following components from your Bambu Lab H2D Tool Box:
Bambu Scraper Blade and its screws: For removing prints from the build plate.
Â
This small module is especially useful for those who, like me, use nozzles of different diameters. The 0.8 mm shown here is just an example; however, it's a good option for anyone needing to print larger parts, as it can reduce printing time by half or even less, though I don't find it particularly interesting for parts requiring dimensional accuracy.
The module for silicone socks is important because, similar to nozzles, they are consumables that wear out over time. Silicone socks tend to degrade much faster than nozzles. As such, I always keep some spares for any eventuality.

Design Philosophy & System Vision
Â
The design philosophy for these bins, and indeed for all our creations, revolves around practical utility combined with thoughtful aesthetics. We believe organizational tools should not only be functional but also pleasant to interact with. By elevating the components and designing for multi-color printing, the aim is to create bins that look great on your workbench and improve your workflow.
Â
These specialized modules are another step in expanding the "Rack4All—Storage System." We've also made available the "Parametric Model Maker - Gridfinity - Rack4all Ed." tool directly on the MakerWorld site. This tool allows you to create custom Gridfinity bins, with or without dividers, that are also compatible with the Rack4All system. Our vision is to provide a comprehensive, adaptable, and user-friendly storage ecosystem that evolves with the needs of the 3D printing community.
