Print a doorstop that actually works! Standard doorstops rarely have the perfect angle or size, often leading to slipping. This customizable OpenSCAD tool lets you generate a doorstop with the exact dimensions needed for any door, ensuring a snug, secure fit every time.

🛠️ What can you customize?

This model is fully parametric, giving you complete control to create the perfect doorstop for your needs.

• Perfect Dimensions: Adjust the length, width, max_height, and even the min_height of the thin end to create a perfect, custom-fit wedge for any door gap.
• Superior Grip: Enable add_ribs to add gripping ridges to the top surface. You can control the rib_count, rib_thickness, and rib_height to maximize holding power on any floor.
• Add a Personal Touch: Want to label it? Enable add_text and type in any custom_text to be embossed on the back. Perfect for labeling a room ("Workshop") or just for fun! You can also change the font and font_size.

 

🖨️ Print Settings

For a standard, rigid doorstop, print with PLA or PETG with a 20-30% infill for good strength. For the more non-slip grip, print this model in TPU! It will grab onto any floor surface and won't scratch your floors. For maximum strength against the force of the door, I recommend printing it lying on its side. This model is very easy to print and requires no supports.
