This model is meticulously crafted to ensure secure fit and watertightness. The conical sealing part (adjustable taper angle) guarantees a tight fit in the bottle neck, while the recommended TPU 95A material provides flexible yet durable sealing. The parametric customization lets you tweak the diameter, taper angle, grip length, and chamfer radius to perfectly match your bottles and preferences. I provided two profiles with optimized settings for German beer and milk bottles. If you have successfully configured, printed and tested stoppers for other bottle norms, please share the parameters and I will add a print profile for the convenience of other users.
Material: TPU 95A for elasticity and durability.
Printing: Easy to print, no supports needed, optimized for Bambu Lab and other FDM printers.
Print time: Approx. 40 minutes to 2 hours (depending on size).
Unfortunately, the generator system does not support the parameterization of slicer settings, so please configure the 3mf file in Bambu Studio with these settings:
The default settings will do too for most cases, but the default sparse infill pattern (grid) will create uneven flexibility and feel odd.
All measures are in millimeters.
Shank diameter: It should be the inner diameter of the bottleneck or a little less.
Knob diameter: The diameter of the knob. It must be larger than the shank diameter, and for aesthetic should be a bit larger than the outer diameter of the bottleneck.
Shank diameter increase: The amount by which to increase the shank diameter towards its inside end (like in champagne corks). The sum of Shank diameter and Shank diameter increase should be a bit wider than the bottleneck. A default of 1 should be enough for most cases when using TPU 95A. When using a softer material, you will want to increase this value to ensure a tiht fight.
Shank length: The length of the shank. Usually, 20 is sufficient.
Shank chamfer: A chamfer on the inside end of the shank which eases insertion of the stopper. 2 or 3 usually are good values.
Knob length: The length of the knob. 15-20 are good values for most cases
Upper knob chamfer: The chamfer on top of the knob. Only for aesthetic. A larger chamfer makes it more muschroom-like, a smaller chamfer more like a cylinder.
Lower knob chamfer: The chamfer on the downside of the knob. It should be 1 or 2 to improve grip for the user when pulling out the stopper.
