Description
The motor locomotive of the 770 series was supplied under the original designation T 669.0 by the locomotive company ČKD Praha and the company Strojárske a metalurgické závody Dubnica nad Váhom (SMZ) for the needs of the Czechoslovak State Railways and industrial enterprises in Czechoslovakia. The prototype was produced in 1963, serial production took place between 1967 and 1969. In addition, 13 broad gauge locomotives were produced again in ČKD in 1983 and 1985.
