A simple and fun toy that prints quickly with no support. Just press the propeller onto the stick and spin it between your palms to make it fly. There are two sizes. The smaller size is easier for kids with small hands, but the larger size will stay in the air longer.
Assembly
Simply press the two pieces together as far as they will go. It’s okay if the gap between the parts doesn’t completely close.
Design Notes
- The propeller blade has a 3-dimensional blade geometry that prints without supports.
- It's designed with a twist along the span and a thicker blade at the root.
- The chord flares out towards the tip with a bit of gullwing droop.
- An extra long slender handle for stability and ergonomics.
- Taper locking attachment is simple, secure, and accommodates a wide range of printing tolerances.
Warning
- These things really like to get stuck on roofs and in trees. I recommend either limiting how hard you spin it, or go to an open field.
