Magnetic clip for paint can

Notice: The wall thickness is 3.5 mm. If you select a magnet with a thickness of 3 mm, the remaining 0.5 mm wall may be too thin for the printer to accurately produce, potentially resulting in holes or weak spots. In fact, it is not possible to print a 3 mm magnet slot properly with a 3.5 mm wall. The maximum magnet thickness that can be used is 2.5 mm to ensure print quality and wall integrity. I ll integrate the possibility to offset the face.

 

Remember to add at least 0.1 for the tolerance in length,width and depth

 

Update: Added parametric version for the round magnet. better use a big size

 

UPDATE: Uploaded new pictures with different neodymium magnet 20x10x2. As ever nothing is how it should be. They arrived 19x9x2.5mm so I created a customizable parametric model in case happen to you too.

I had available only the magnet 5x3 so i used those one and they do the job but i had to offset the face otherwise not fisible… i ll upload the version with good strong magnet.
