Summary

Wanted a single box to store most of my soldering accessories in, so I made one!

This is made using the parametric box files from Rugged Box (Parametric) - Whity and the inserts are from Rugged Multipart Pinecil/TS100/TS80 Case (V2) - PjotrStrog. The inserts have been modified to accept 5x2.5mm magnets for a nice consistent clasp. Here are some features:

  • Holds up to six additional tips
  • Room for massive sponge, brass wool, or solder winding
  • Flux syringe storage
  • Tip tinner tin storage
  • Solder stand storage (Specifically for the Pinecil, TS100, TS101, TS80 Stand for Storage Box with thicker stem - TheMagiciaN)
  • Room for the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank
  • Print in place kickstand for lid support
  • Optional magnetized area for further accessories

To assemble the box you'll need 6 M3x30 Bolts

At minimum you need 4 5x2.5mm magnets. If you want to populate the entire box (including soldering tip storage) you'll need 28 5x2.5mm magnets.

Theres no dedicated room for a soldering spool (I know, not sure why I did that but too deep now lol), but one can be placed in the magnetic area or on top/inside of the brass wool cutout. Thats how I currently carry mine about.

Enjoy!
