Camera Grip for Nikon Zfc

I love vintage film cameras and even new-but-old-looking cameras like this Zfc but they are a far cry from anything ergonomic. So this sent me on a journey to make a nice-looking and more functional grip that would compliment and not clash with my new Zfc since this is part of my EDC. It features a fuzzy skin texture on the grip portion (the look and feel is best achieved using OrcaSlicer - .3mf available), open bottom for battery and memory access (battery door should be removed before installing the grip), and a friction fit slot for a spare SD card. Oh! and a Zfc logo for congruency 👌🤓

The hole for the ¼-20 screw has a single sacrificial layer that should be cut out after printing. That said, there is no need for supports for this model! Just one clean and easy print 👍

 

I printed mine in Black ABS for summer vacations' sake but I'm sure PETG would fair just fine. PLA would most likely deform over time.

Material: PETG or stronger / more durable material.

Perimeters/Walls: 4 for more strength all-over - especially the grip portion.

Infill: 20% Cubic for the base - 30% Cubic for the grip portion

Brim: Not Necessary

Supports: Not Necessary
