Magnetic Washing Machine Door Prop

I designed this magnetic washing machine door prop to keep the door slightly open between washes, helping prevent mold, mildew, and those musty smells. The built-in magnets make it easy to attach securely to your washer when not in use, and it quickly snaps into place when you need it. It’s a simple, effective solution for keeping your front-load washer fresh and well-ventilated without leaving the door wide open.

 

Parts needed:
2 x M5 10mm screws
2 x 15x4 Neodymium Magnets

 

Print:
1 x Body
2 x Magnet Bodies
2 x Magnet Caps

 

Use an M5 screw to attach the printed magnet body to the main body
Insert the magnet into the magnet body
Screw the magnet cap onto the magnet body
Repeat for the other side.

The Tolerances are very tight, so there will be no rattling when moving.  The magnet body and cap can be resized using your preferred slicing engine.
