When I first got my cleaning vacuum (iRobot Roomba i5), I wanted it to go under my couch and clean there instead of having to painstakingly vacuum or sweep it, much less take apart the whole couch just to get under it. However, the clearance was too low. I noticed that the “feet” of the couch were circular and that I needed to raise it up by about 22mm to get the Roomba to drive underneath it. Therefore, I designed a cylinder to raise it up. The circular hole in the first model provided is to keep the support from sliding out.

The next couch I needed, however, had large foam feet instead of small circular ones. Additionally, it put considerably more weight on the legs compared to the first couch. Therefore, I developed the second design, a pyramid-like design to distribute weight with more space for the foot on the top.

Both of these models are open to customization, where you can change the height, inner diameter/width, and size to accommodate your cleaning robot height, couch floor clearance, and other factors to ensure that no piece of furniture is left behind.

Each model is 100% infill to prevent collapse, as when I printed the first design with less infill for the first time, it imploded under the weight of the couch (and people sitting on it). However, slightly lower infill should work, although it is recommended to keep the value over 50%.
