Description
Like in every Mario Kart before, I picked Yoshi once again in the newest game on the Switch 2 – and when he showed up in the post-race sequence wearing that golden crown, grinning like a true champion…
I just had to turn it into a design.
That joy, that little moment of celebration… it was simply too cute to ignore 🍄👑
Funfact: Did ya know that Yoshi’s full name is actually… T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas?
This version features five colors, and to make the filament switch work smoothly, I added a planned pause during the print at Layer 14 after 2h09m44s, so round about 2 hours and 10 minutes.
I selected red filament as the initial color in the print job, since it gets printed first on the layer before the pause
.
👉 When the pause hits, just swap out the red filament for black and click continue.
⚠️ Heads-up: on my app, the pause shows up as an error – but don’t worry, it’s not, it's just the signal for the planned switch!
Set against a backdrop of classic Mario Kart chaos – banana peels, Bob-ombs, shells and stars – this cover celebrates the fun of every race, and the one dino who always makes it to the top with a grin.
Straight from the track and still wearing his crown – Yoshi is ready to race again.
Let’s-a go!
