This is a replacement housing for a Suzuki car key. It includes space for the transponder (for the immobilizer) and for a metal key with an L-shaped profile. ⚠ Important: Some Suzuki keys have an I-shaped profile. This design is only for the L-shaped key. (See the explanation below if you are not sure which one you have.)
Printing instructions (Bambu Lab printer with AMS):
Use black PETG filament in slot 1.
Use red PETG filament in slot 3.
Use any PLA filament in slot 4 – this is only for the support layer, and only a few grams are needed.
After printing:
You will need one self-tapping screw (2.5 mm x 10 mm).
For a nice look, choose a screw in the same color as your housing.
Before screwing the two halves together, place inside:
the metal key,
the electronics and buttons,
the immobilizer transponder. (You can take all these parts from your original key housing.)
Why it’s different from the original design:
I made the shape a little different on purpose.
This shape makes the housing stronger while keeping it compact.
I personally think it looks better than the original.
Extra improvement:
The buttons are slightly recessed. This helps prevent accidental pressing when the key is in a tight pocket – something that can happen with the original housing.
