Grow a Garden - Beanstalk - 19.685" tall

NO SUPPORTS NEEDED. Assembly and glueing is required.

One of Grow a Garden's tallest items. Print with magnets and the peas can hang from the leaves and be carried by the Raccoon.

 

Printing:

2 different options:

Option 1: Print the entire Beanstalk in 3 pieces (supports required) on 3 plates (211mm is tallest plate)

Option 2: Print 26 individual pieces and assemble.

 

Plate One - DO NOT PRINT.  This is only to show you what the completed Beanstalk looks like.

 

Plate Two - Beanstalk - Base lower section. Supports required.

 

Plate Three - Beanstalk - Base middle section. Supports required.

 

Plate Four - Beanstalk - Base upper section. Supports required

 

Plate Five - Small Leaves - Includes pauses for magnets (8mm dia. x 2mm tall). 1 per leaf, 8 total. I like to use a dab of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to hold the magnets in place.

 

Plate Six - Large Leaves - Includes pauses for magnets (8mm dia. x 2mm tall). 1 per leaf, 4 total. I like to use a dab of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to hold the magnets in place.

 

Plate Seven - Beanstalk - Sections 1-12. No Supports required. There are some very small pieces on the top of each block, try not to break them off, but don't worry if they do.  

 

Plate Eight - Beanstalk - Sections 13-26. No Supports required. There are some very small pieces on the top of each block, try not to break them off, but don't worry if they do.  

 

Plate Nine - Fidget Peas - Requested by my daughter.  These take a little effort to break off the connection to the base inside.  Once you do they will roll around inside the container.

 

Plate Ten - Peas - 3 different sizes.  Includes pauses for magnets (6mm dia. x 2mm tall). 2 per Pea Container, 12 total. I like to use a dab of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to hold the magnets in place.

 

Plate Eleven - Small Leaves - No magnets

 

Plate Twelve - Large Leaves - No magnets

 

Plate Thirteen - Peas - 3 different sizes - No magnets

 

Assembly:

Beanstalk pieces are numbered starting with 1 for the base.  Make sure you line them up correctly to each other before glueing. I believe all each subsequent number should only be slightly rotated from the piece below, but I'm not 100% sure.  It should be a very smooth and uniform twist all the way from start to finish. I like to use 16 Acrylic Plastic Cement to bond PLA together.

 

Leaves will just push in, start with either the largest on the bottom and work your way up or at the top with the smallest and work your way down.  Each piece will fit snugly. There are 8 different sizes, they are all 8mm high, but vary in width (8mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 17.5mm, 20mm, 22.5mm, and 25mm) at the stem.
