A simple, tidy home for the full hotend. The lid uses a flush color inlay—it stays perfectly flat on top but prints in a second color with AMS. No glue, no sanding tricks.

What’s inside

• 3MF project (recommended): lid + inlay as separate parts, ready to slice
• STLs: Lid.stl, TextInlay.stl, BottomBox.stl, Logo.stl

Description

• Flat inlay, real color – pocket equals layer height, so it’s smooth to the touch
• No supports – print the lid text-up and go
• Quick print – standard PLA profile works great

AMS color setup

1. Open the 3MF (or: load Lid.stl, then Right-click lid → Add Part… and load TextInlay.stl).
2. In Process → Objects, set Lid = Color A, Inlay = Color B.
3. Slice and check the preview—text/logo should be visible on the top layer, completely flat.

Fit tips

• Sized for the P1/P1S hotend. Plan about ±0.50 mm XY tolerance on printed parts.
