Attention! - Calling all sports & logo lovers! 

 

Pittsburgh Steelers Logo 2002 display piece

 

This logo has been hand crafted to provide a nice visual display piece with varying extrusion heights to provide nice depth contrast between layers. Included is 3MF file with the appropriate team hex color codes and fine tweaked ironing settings for a nice professional looking piece. (In the future I may release more profile versions of varying sizes with alterations for magnets, ornaments, keychains, and/or necklaces.)

 

If you prefer to use Bambu filaments only please see attached Bill of Materials for colors (Note - some colors may not be exact because I mix & match other brand filaments.) If you want to use exactly what was used in the model images see below.

 

For this model/print I used the following filaments:

1. Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA Charcoal Black
2. Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA Fossil Gray
3. Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA Cotton White
4. Polymaker Panchroma Matte PLA Lava Red
5. Bambu Lab PLA Basic Sunflower Yellow   *** SEE BELOW***

6. Bambu Lab PLA Basic Blue  *** SEE BELOW***

    

*** PLEASE READ*** This logo print is 6 colors. If you do not have more then 1 AMS you will need to manually change your filament during printing. Colors 1 through 4 above will need to be your initial colors loaded on your AMS. I have added a pause at the beginning of layer 127 when the fossil gray and cotton white of the logo are complete. You will need to manually swap out your fossil gray filament (which will no longer be needed for the remainder of this print) for basic blue and your cotton white filament (which will no longer be needed for the remainder of this print) for sunflower yellow to achieve an accurate Steelers logo. If you have more then one AMS please delete the pause on the preview tab as it won't be needed. If anyone needs further instructions before printing please reach out. If you scale this logo on the Z axis (thickness) you will have to manually adjust what layer the pause is at.

 

These filament color choices are based on a mix of personal preference of what is accurate to the logo’s official colors and/or colors I had available at the time of printing.

 

I will continue to release more models over time spanning different eras (past and present) of the MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, and NCAA. Since there are so many logos and variations available for any requests on which logo(s) you’d like to see next please feel free drop a comment or send me a message!

 

Note: This was modeled was created to achieve minimal color changes for cost savings and time efficiency but to provide the best visual aesthetic. All logos are uploaded in a similar size for uniformity and will fit all current Bambu Lab build plate sizes. This logo can be scaled up or down to your desire. (You may have issues on finer details if scaling down more complex logos. You may also have ironing issues if you scale up or down and may need to adjust these settings.) All logos are uploaded with a 0.08 layer height for a professional elegant and clean look/result that hides layer lines. You may change this to whatever layer height you desire and should not have many issues. A 0.16 layer height would be encouraged for those who want to save some time but still produce a nice print.
