Description

Standing at 24" tall, Roosie the Skellyton Rooster is ready to spook up any Halloween gathering! This model is dedicated to a friendly rooster who unexpectedly appeared in our HOA and became a cherished friend. During my illness, Roosie was always there for me, every day. When I returned home from the hospital, he was being relocated that same day. It broke my heart. I was already working on this model before I was hospitalized because I wanted him to see my hard work and have friends. So even though I was still recovering and not really supposed to use my right arm, I went all in and got to work.

My mission? Make a 24" Roosie for every house I could possibly get it to! So here he is! I have him in a few different versions: 24" with 4 and 5 plates, and a 22" version with 4 plates. I've made 6 of these so far. I ran it with 3 or 4 walls, depending on the piece, 3-5% Gyroid infill for most parts, and even 5% for the lighting on the body parts. I was able to get my 24" Roosie down to 1Kg of material. Profiles will be set to 3 Walls and 15% Gyroid infill, which will give you a full model for under 2Kg of filament. Plate Placement looks strange and if you can place it better, please do, and share with the rest of us! I hope you enjoy having Roosie in your yard as much as we did. He will be missed, but never forgotten!

I'm currently working on making a girlfriend for Roosie. Her name is Rosie, and she'll be just a little bit smaller than Roosie, but just as Cute!
