Stealth Bomber B-2 Magnet

 

The B-2 Spirit is a US stealth strategic bomber known for its ability to penetrate sophisticated air defenses 
and deliver both conventional and nuclear munitions. It is a flying wing design with low-observable technology, 
enabling it to operate at high altitudes with a large combat radius.

 

About the model:
This is a 1:374 scale model of the iconic B-2 bomber, designed as a magnet.
The model is aesthetically pleasing, with an emphasis on simplicity and good quality.
Minimalist form ensures that looks great on any fridge, whiteboard, or exhibition.

 

Print guide:
-Print with PLA (I achieved the best quality with BambuLab filaments)
-Clean buildplate.
-The choice of PEI plate depends on your requirements, what kind of bottom surface you want to achieve.
-Use only 0.4mm nozzle
-I recommend drying the filament before printing to prevent artifacts and streaks
-In order to achieve good quality of the model, a 0.12mm layer was set and ironing was turned on, 
so I recommend not to mess with the speed because it is already set appropriately in the printing profile

 

After print:
The model only requires gluing a 6x3mm round magnet into the hole at the bottom of the model, CA glue is best for this.

1. The models shown in the photos were printed using Bambu Lab filaments (PLA Matte Charcoal & PLA Basic jade white).
