Wind-Up Box Add-On | Move Any 3D Print!

I’ve spent what feels like a lifetime tweaking, breaking, and reprinting this thing, a universal wind-up mechanism that can bring any 3D-printed project to life. 

Now it’s finally ready, and I’m sharing it with you so you can skip all the headaches I went through.

 

The idea’s simple: you design the fun part, the robot, the car, the gadget, the whatever, and let this little powerhouse box handle the winding and moving. Instead of building your own from scratch, just make enough space to drop this box into your project and link back to this project in your design description, so we all stay on the same version and get the latest improvements. 

 

I’ve made three examples to get you started: a Wheelchair Robot, a Submarine, and a Cybertruck. But honestly, I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Whether it’s a tiny walking creature or a big rolling contraption, this mechanism is here to make it happen.

 

How it works:
