Cat Head Slinky

Please make sure to use a filament for which you have calibrated the flow rate, as overextrusion can lead to the part not being separable!

Please only print this model with a 0.2mm layer height, as other layer heights will lead to the model not being separable. You can read more about why here: https://makerworld.com/community/post/60887

 

There are 5 lengths available: 30mm, 60mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm.
If you want to make it larger or smaller I recommend only scaling the X and Y axes, as the Z should be fixed to make sure it works when printed.

Please disregard the “Floating Cantilever” warnings that Bambu Studio gives you, the model needs to be printed without supports to make sure it can separate.

After the model is printed you will need to pull the spiral apart, you might need to use a knife to get the separation started, as shown in this image:
